Job summary

WAE India is seeking a service engineer to oversee installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of packaging and processing equipment at client sites in Hyderabad. You will ensure proper alignment, testing, and handover of systems with emphasis on uptime and reliability.

The role includes preventive maintenance, performance checks of filling/ capping/ washing units, and training client staff in basic operation and troubleshooting, with timely reporting of activities and issues.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload equipment at customer site and assist in placement.
• Carry out installation, alignment, and connection as per SOP.
• Test and calibrate systems before handover.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules without delay.
• Conduct performance checks for filling, capping, washing, and packaging units.
• Replace faulty components and ensure machine uptime.
• Respond to customer breakdown calls per SLA and document the work.
• Train client staff in machine operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Submit service reports, maintenance logs, and breakdown analysis within timelines.

Customer Interaction & Training

• Train client staff in machine operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Collect feedback and elevate major concerns to Zonal Manager.

Documentation & Reporting

• Submit service reports, maintenance logs, and breakdown analysis within timelines.
• Maintain spare parts usage records.
