Job summary

Intra Shiftix Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a technically skilled Service Engineer - MHE to manage installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown servicing and on-site troubleshooting of electric material handling equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience with electric forklifts and warehouse gear and involves customer-facing field service. The candidate should be comfortable conducting inspections, generating service reports, and coordinating with spare parts for timely support.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MHE servicing experience is essential.
• Degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics fields; ITI with MHE exposure acceptable.
• Experience with electric forklifts and warehouse equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service electric forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing to minimize downtime.
• Provide on-site technical support and file service reports.
• Coordinate with spare parts team for timely availability and after-sales support.

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled Service Engineer - MHE to handle installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown servicing, troubleshooting and repairs of electric material handling equipment. The candidate should have hands‑on experience with electric forklifts and warehouse equipment and be comfortable providing field service and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Maintenance

• Install, commission and service electric forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing.
• Attend customer complaints and resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Conduct equipment inspections to improve reliability and minimize downtime.

2. Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Diagnose electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, controllers, batteries, chargers, sensors, wiring harnesses and safety systems.
• Experience with lithium-ion batteries, BMS and CAN communication systems will be an advantage.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective actions.

3. Customer Support & Documentation

• Provide on‑site technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records and breakdown reports.
• Support warranty investigations and coordinate timely closure of service requests.

4. Spare Parts & After-Sales Support

• Identify spare parts using parts catalogues and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure timely availability.
• Support spare parts sales, AMC renewals and other after‑sales service opportunities.

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience in electric forklift and MHE servicing.
• Preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge of motors, controllers, batteries and chargers.
• Customer handling and service reporting.
• Basic MS Excel and ERP/service management software knowledge.

Preferred MHE Brands

HELI, STILL, Toyota, Jungheinrich, Linde, Crown, Yale, Doosan, Hyundai or equivalent material handling equipment brands.
