Job summary

Cuckoo Appliances is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our service team in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. You will provide on-site diagnostics, installation support, and repairs for our water purifiers, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.

You will train technicians, document service visits, and collaborate with engineering to improve product reliability. Candidates must be hands-on, customer-focused, and able to work independently with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to service technicians and handle installation or service complaints.

Job description

• Providing Technical support to service technicians for any issues in handling Installation or Service complaints.
• Providing Videos on standard installation & PMS to all technicians
• Training the technicians on how to handle frequently occurring issues in the water purifiers.
• Updating & educating the technicians on any new development or updation in the products.
• Working towards Product up gradation& New Product Development
• No. of field inspections done
• No. of unique water sample & filter testing performed
• Preparing area-wise water quality reports
• Validating the spare part requests under FOC & taking necessary approvals
• Timely informing the manufacturing team if any improvement in quality is required based on the frequency of FOC parts.
• Working on reducing the FOCs by performing root cause analysis
• Installation and Setup:
• Troubleshooting and Repair
• Diagnose problems with malfunctioning appliances using specialized tools and software.
• Repair or replace faulty components to restore appliance functionality.
• Provide on-site support and remote troubleshooting as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance performed. Prepare service reports and document customer interactions and feedback.

Training and Development:

Train customers and junior technicians on proper appliance usage and maintenance. Participate in continuous training to stay updated on new appliances and technologies.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols while performing installations, maintenance, and repairs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Inventory Management:

Manage parts inventory and ensure necessary tools and components are available. Order and track parts needed for repairs and maintenance.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs and installations meet company standards. Provide feedback to manufacturers on recurring issues to improve product design and reliability.
