Job summary

Genpact is seeking a seasoned Payroll expert in India to manage end-to-end payroll, including input management, processing, and time & attendance. You will lead a team of payroll professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure statutory compliance across the payroll lifecycle.

The role requires deep knowledge of Workday Payroll and ADP, with a focus on accuracy, governance, and automation, while collaborating with HR and business leaders in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, economics or finance.
• MBA and/or analytics-focused masters recommended.
• CEBS certification if available preferred.
• Extensive Workday Payroll and ADP expertise required.

Job Description Expertise:

• Extensive end-to-end Payroll management experience (Input management, Payroll processing, Time & Attendance processing).
• Expert-level knowledge of Workday Payroll and ADP platforms - Manage end-to-end Payroll operations from input management and time & attendance through processing, disbursement and post-payroll activities - Lead team of payroll specialists, managing workload distribution and backup planning - Own relationship and governance with retained HR teams and third-party ADP/Workday support - Drive continuous improvement initiatives, quality reviews and process automation - Manage statutory compliance, audits and regulatory reporting across the payroll lifecycle - Provide escalation management for critical/complex payroll issues - Own Workday Payroll and ADP platform performance, upgrades and integration issues
