Job summary

Vecmocon is seeking a field service technician to visit customer and EV swapping station sites for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will inspect stations, batteries and chargers, identify issues and resolve basic electrical problems at client locations.

The role requires readiness for field work, travel to client sites, and following safety SOPs. A technical qualification (ITI/Diploma/Graduate) and a driving license for two-wheeler are preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/Graduate or equivalent technical qualification.
• 0–3 years of experience in EV, electrical, electronics, automotive service or field support.
• Basic understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
• Willingness to perform field work and frequent travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer and EV swapping station sites for installation, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform regular inspection and maintenance of EV swapping stations, batteries, chargers and related equipment.
• Identify and resolve basic electrical, wiring, charging, battery and equipment-related issues.
• Attend customer/service complaints and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of EV equipment at client locations.
• Replace faulty components, connectors, wiring, fuses and other parts as required.
• Maintain service reports, issue details, spare-part usage and site visit records.
• Coordinate with Team Lead for major or repeated technical issues.
• Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment and spare parts.
• Follow company SOPs, safety guidelines and PPE requirements at all times.
