Job summary

Growth For Impact is looking for an EV charger technician to diagnose and repair AC/DC chargers and inspect electrical systems on two- and three-wheelers. The role involves troubleshooting at component and module levels, replacing defective parts, and performing functional testing to ensure quality before dispatch.

You will install and commission chargers at customer sites, conduct road tests where required, and maintain repair records while coordinating with customers on status and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair AC/DC EV chargers.
• Troubleshoot faults at component and module level.
• Replace defective components such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, Bridge Rectifiers, capacitors, resistors, relays, fuses, transformers, connectors, etc.
• Perform functional testing after repair.
• Update repair details in the service management system.
• Ensure repaired chargers meet quality standards before dispatch.
• Inspect electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
• Diagnose battery, motor, controller, charger, wiring harness, throttle, brake switch, and electrical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
• Perform road testing where applicable.
• Install EV chargers at customer locations.
• Commission chargers and verify charging performance.
• Attend onsite service calls and warranty complaints.
• Coordinate with customers regarding repair status and issue resolution.
• Maintain service reports and repair records.
• Record spare parts consumption accurately.
• Report repeated failures and technical observations to Team Lead.
• Handle repair tools properly.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of spare parts.
• Return unused materials after work completion.
• Follow SOPs and repair guidelines.
• Use ESD and electrical safety precautions.
• Follow PPE requirements during repair and installation.
• Maintain quality standards and minimize repeat failures.
