Job summary

Originally Desi is seeking an SEO Executive to grow our organic reach for A2 Bilona Ghee, oils, and honey. You will own on-page SEO across our Shopify store, perform keyword research, and translate product ideas into publish-ready content.

You will tackle technical SEO, improve site speed, structured data, and Core Web Vitals, plus optimize Amazon listings and conduct off-page work. Collaboration with the founder will shape brand storytelling and revenue-driven rankings.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience in a D2C or ecommerce brand.
• Experience with Shopify SEO, not just WordPress.
• Proficient with GSC, GA4, and tools like Ahrefs or Semrush.

Responsibilities

• Own on-page SEO across product and collection pages on Shopify.
• Conduct keyword research and content mapping for ghee, oils, and honey categories.
• Create publish-ready blog and landing page copy from founder/farm inputs.
• Handle technical SEO: site speed, schema, indexing, Core Web Vitals.
• Optimise Amazon listings: keywords and A+ content.
• Engage in off-page activities: backlinks, digital PR, local listings; report impact via GA4 & GSC.

What You'll Own

• On‑page SEO across our Shopify product and collection pages
• Keyword research and content mapping for ghee, oils, and honey categories
• Turn founder and farm inputs into publish‑ready blogs and landing page copy
• Technical SEO: site speed, schema, indexing, Core Web Vitals
• Amazon listing optimisation, keywords, and A+ content
• Off‑page work: backlinks, digital PR, and local listings
• Track everything in Google Search Console and GA4, and report what moved

You're the Right Fit If You

• Have 1 to 3 years of hands‑on SEO experience, ideally with a D2C or e‑commerce brand
• Have worked on Shopify SEO, not just WordPress
• Know your way around GSC, GA4, and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Can turn raw inputs into clean, publish‑ready content
• Comfortable using AI tools for drafting, with the judgement to know what to keep and what to throw
• Understand how Indians actually search, including Hinglish queries
• Care about rankings that bring revenue, not vanity keywords
