Job summary

Brandacy is seeking an SEO Executive to drive organic growth across client websites, including keyword strategy, on-page optimisation, technical fixes, and performance reporting. You will work on both Indian and international accounts from a remote setup.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, familiarity with GA4, GSC, GTM, and tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush. You will contribute to strategy, execution and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency.
• Working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with at least one of Ahrefs, SEMrush or Moz.
• Understanding of HTML basics and how CMS platforms work (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow).
• Ability to interpret data and explain recommendations in plain language.
• Experience handling both Indian and international client websites.

Responsibilities

• Develop keyword research and strategy to drive growth across client sites.
• Optimise on-page elements like title tags, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
• Perform technical SEO fixes and coordinate site audits.
• Plan and oversee off-page SEO including link building and local SEO.

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Executive to drive organic growth across multiple client websites: keyword strategy, on-page optimisation, technical fixes, off-page execution and performance reporting. You will work across both Indian and international accounts.

Key responsibilities

Keyword research and strategy

• Conduct keyword research, mapping and clustering using Ahrefs, SEMrush or Google Keyword Planner
• Analyse competitor rankings, content gaps and backlink profiles
• Build and maintain SEO roadmaps for assigned client accounts

On-page SEO

• Optimise title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URL structures and internal linking
• Brief and review SEO-focused content; optimise existing pages for search intent
• Implement schema markup (FAQ, product, local business, article)
• Optimise images, alt text and page-level content hierarchy

Technical SEO

• Run site audits using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEMrush
• Identify and coordinate fixes for crawl errors, broken links, redirect chains, duplicate content and indexation issues
• Monitor Core Web Vitals, page speed and mobile usability
• Manage robots.txt, XML sitemaps and canonical tags

Off-page SEO

• Plan and oversee link building: guest posts, directories, business listings and digital PR
• Vet backlink quality (DA/DR, traffic, relevance, spam score) before acquisition
• Manage local SEO: Google Business Profile optimisation, citations and review generation

Reporting and analysis

• Track rankings, organic traffic, impressions, CTR and conversions
• Build monthly performance reports in Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Looker Studio
• Present findings and next-month priorities to internal leads and clients

Required skills and experience
