Arcgate Technologies LLP in Udaipur invites an experienced Senior Windows System Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise Windows Server environments, AD, and Microsoft 365. The role requires 7+ years in Windows systems with 3+ years in senior/lead capacity, plus hands-on expertise in Hyper-V/VMware, PowerShell, backup and disaster recovery, and hybrid identity management.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows System Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our Windows server and client environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery, and endpoint management.

Technology Expertise

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025), including Domain Controllers, file/print, RDS, IIS, and application servers.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, AD Certificate Services, and hybrid identity using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and related security and compliance controls.
• Manage Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization platforms, including capacity planning, patching, and high availability.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for Windows workloads using Veeam, Windows Server Backup, or equivalent solutions.
• Implement security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation aligned with CIS and Microsoft security baselines.
• Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Desired State Configuration, and infrastructure-as-code practices where applicable.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security events; troubleshoot incidents and participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and change management procedures.
• Mentor junior system administrators and collaborate with network, security, and application teams to improve infrastructure reliability.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Windows systems administration, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and hybrid Microsoft Entra ID identity management.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Proven experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware vSphere virtualization platforms.
• Solid understanding of Windows security, patch management, backup and disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Intune, and SharePoint/OneDrive, as applicable.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage incidents and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-800/AZ-801, MS-102, SC-300, or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Experience with Azure IaaS, Azure VMs, Azure AD Connect/Cloud Sync, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, SCCM/ConfigMgr, or Intune, and ITIL practices.
• Exposure to Linux interoperability, SQL Server administration basics, or large-scale PKI environments.
• Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments.
