Job summary

Euspert - APPCAST - CPC seeks a Windows Administrator with 4+ years of hands-on Windows Server experience to manage enterprise environments in Pune. The role covers Hyper-V management, AD services, patching, security hardening, and incident handling.

Prior experience with large-scale infrastructures and cloud familiarity (Azure/GCP) is preferred. Responsibilities include server provisioning, clustering, NLB, backups, and collaborating with vendors for issue resolution, while ensuring SLA

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration.
• Experience with enterprise Windows environments (1,000+ servers) and Hyper-V.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, ADFS.
• Experience with patching tools like WSUS, SCCM, IBM BigFix or ManageEngine.
• Knowledge of server hardening and Windows security.
• Experience with monitoring tools (SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, ManageEngine).
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019.
• Perform patch management using WSUS, SCCM, BigFix, or ManageEngine.
• Implement server hardening and security best practices.
• Manage AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, replication, and backups.
• Administer File Servers, Print Servers, IIS, and WDS.
• Monitor server health with SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, or ManageEngine.
• Manage Hyper-V, VMs, clustering, replication, storage migration.
• Configure Windows Clustering, NLB, NIC Teaming.
• Support server migration/upgrade activities.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform RCA.
• Handle Incident, Change, and Problem Management with SLA.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors for issue resolution.
• Maintain availability, security, and performance.
• Support Azure/GCP cloud operations (preferred).

Windows Administrator (4+ Years Experience)

We are looking for a skilled Windows Administrator with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing Windows infrastructure, Hyper-V environments, Active Directory, patch management, server security, and troubleshooting enterprise Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 environments.
• Perform Windows server patch management using WSUS, SCCM, IBM BigFix, or ManageEngine.
• Implement server hardening and security best practices.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, replication, and backup services.
• Administer File Servers (DFS, FSRM), Print Servers, IIS, and WDS.
• Monitor server health using tools such as SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, or ManageEngine.
• Manage Hyper-V environments, including VM provisioning, clustering, replication, storage migration, and performance optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows Clustering, Network Load Balancing (NLB), and NIC Teaming.
• Support Windows Server and Hyper-V migration and upgrade activities.
• Troubleshoot Windows server issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Handle Incident, Change, and Problem Management activities while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors (Microsoft, Dell, HP, etc.) for issue resolution.
• Maintain server availability, security, and performance across enterprise environments.
• Support Azure/GCP cloud operations (preferred).

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/** Candidates must have hands-on experience managing and supporting an enterprise environment with 1,000+ Windows servers .
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V administration.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and ADFS.
• Experience with WSUS, SCCM, IBM BigFix, or ManageEngine patching tools.
• Knowledge of server hardening, antivirus management, and Windows security.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, or ManageEngine.
• Experience with Windows Clustering, NLB, NIC Teaming, and virtualization.
• Basic exposure to Azure or GCP is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, MCP, ITIL, or Microsoft Azure are preferred.
