Qualifications

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator with 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.

The candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and securing enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, virtualization, backup, security, and IT operations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, the ability to independently handle complex infrastructure issues, perform system changes and upgrades, support critical incidents, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Manage server roles, services, processes, storage, permissions, and system performance.
• Configure and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.
• Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, authentication, and access.
• Troubleshoot server performance, availability, application, and OS-related issues.
• Perform operating system patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Monitor server health, CPU, memory, disk, services, and system logs.
• Perform server installation, configuration, migration, and decommissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot server-client connectivity and application-related issues.
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.
• Troubleshoot AD replication, authentication, login, DNS, and Group Policy issues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Support hybrid identity environments involving Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Manage identity and access-related issues.
• Working knowledge of MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, and identity security.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments.
• Troubleshoot user authentication, mailbox, email delivery, permissions, licensing, and Microsoft 365 service issues.
• Support hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot cloud connectivity, authentication, compute, storage, and access issues.
• Monitor Azure resources and identify performance or availability issues.
• Assist with cloud migration and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Manage and troubleshoot enterprise virtualization environments.
• Troubleshoot VM connectivity, resource utilization, storage, and performance issues.
• Manage and monitor enterprise backup solutions.
• Perform backup configuration, monitoring, restore, and recovery activities.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent corrective actions.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
• Use PowerShell for system administration and automation.
