SG India Engineering in Chennai is seeking a seasoned Tekla Structures detailer to develop precise 3D structural steel models and deliver fabrication and erection drawings. The role emphasizes complex steel modeling and collaboration to meet project timelines.

Candidate should have 7–12 years in Tekla detailing with knowledge of AISC/CSA/ AWS standards and familiarity with DSTV/NC files, AutoCAD or Revit. Strong technical and coordination skills are essential.

Competenze

• 7–12 years of experience in Tekla Structures and structural steel detailing.
• Experience in US (AISC) and/or Canadian structural steel projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AISC standards, CSA S16, AWS D1.1, steel connections, welding and bolting details.
• Expertise in fabrication drawings, erection drawings, GA drawings and complex steel modeling.
• Good understanding of US and Canadian Imperial measurement systems (Feet & Inches).
• Knowledge of DSTV/NC files, AutoCAD, Revit, or SDS/2 adds advantage.
• Strong technical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
