Job summary

Whiteboard Technologies is seeking a Tekla Structures specialist to perform structural steel checking and modeling. You will interpret design drawings, coordinate across trades, check models for anchors, connections, and clashes, and assess fabrication feasibility.

The role involves advanced Tekla settings and templates to boost productivity. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in AISC, NISD, SJI, OSHA, BS and BIS standards, with solid structural engineering knowledge and experience in steel

Qualifications

• Well versed in AISC, NISD, SJI, OSHA and other relevant standards for the steel fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of basic structural engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of structural engineering standards, including AISC, BS, and BIS.

Responsibilities

• Structural steel checking using Tekla Structures.
• Interpretation of design drawings and coordination between different trade drawings.
• Checking of Tekla models, including anchor bolts, main and miscellaneous member inputs, main and miscellaneous connections.
• Identification of clashes in the model.
• Fabrication and erection feasibility.
• Tekla fabrication settings, templates, reports, and standard part modeling.
• Structural steel modeling using Tekla Structures.
• Working with new plugins to improve productivity.
