Job summary

Advenser Engineering Services seeks a detail-oriented Steel Detailing Checker with strong Tekla Structures expertise to review 3D models and fabrication drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance. You will collaborate with detailers, engineers, and project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables and on-schedule project execution.

Responsibilities include verifying member sizes, welds, bolts, BOMs, and erection drawings while resolving modeling issues and maintaining quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Steel Detailing Checker or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of structural steel detailing, fabrication, and erection practices.
• Familiarity with AISC, BS, IS, and other industry standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

• Review Tekla 3D models, GA drawings, and shop drawings for accuracy.
• Verify member sizes, dimensions, elevations, materials, bolts, welds, and connections.
• Identify and resolve modeling errors, clashes, and fabrication discrepancies before release.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and industry standards.
• Review BOMs, assembly, and erection drawings for consistency.
• Coordinate with detailers, engineers, and PMs to resolve queries.
• Maintain QC procedures to meet standards and timelines.
• Provide guidance to detailing teams to improve drawing quality.
• Support continuous process improvement in detailing accuracy.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Steel Detailing Checker with strong expertise in Tekla Structures to review and verify structural steel models and fabrication drawings. The ideal candidate will ensure that all deliverables are accurate, complete, constructible, and compliant with applicable industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements. The role requires close collaboration with detailers, engineers, and project managers to maintain quality, accuracy, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate Tekla Structures 3D models, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Verify member sizes, dimensions, elevations, material specifications, bolt lists, weld details, and connection information.
• Identify and resolve modeling errors, clashes, connection issues, and fabrication discrepancies before drawing release.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and relevant industry standards such as AISC, BS, and IS.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and erection drawings for consistency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with detailers, structural engineers, and project managers to resolve technical queries and implement necessary corrections.
• Maintain quality control procedures and ensure deliverables meet company standards and project timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to detailing teams to improve drawing quality and reduce revisions.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance detailing accuracy and productivity.
