Job summary

Qural Talent Nexus seeks a skilled Steel Detailer to build accurate 3D steel models using Tekla Structures for diverse projects. You will interpret structural and architectural drawings to develop detailed models and fabricate shop and GA drawings.

The role requires modeling welded, bolted, moment and shear connections per design specs and codes, with MT0 preparation and RFIs coordination. Strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D steel models using Tekla Structures for commercial, industrial & infrastructure projects.
• Interpret drawings to develop detailed models.
• Model steel connections (welded, bolted, moment, shear) per design specs and codes.
• Produce fabrication/shop drawings, GA drawings, and erection drawings.
• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) reports.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve RFIs and implement design changes.
• Work across imperial & metric units, complying with international standards (AISC, UK, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures (Modeling only).
• Knowledge of structural steel detailing standards.
• Ability to read structural/architectural drawings.
• Understanding of connection design principles.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
