Job summary

Jeeves Consumer Services in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Training Delivery & Execution professional to lead hands-on and instructor-led sessions for troubleshooting and repair of home appliances. You will elaborate technical training programs for domestic appliances, including refrigeration, washing machines, HVAC, and smart home features.

Qualifications

• Experience: 35+ years in field service, technical support, or training in consumer electronics or major home appliances.
• Deep knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems, refrigeration/thermodynamics, motors and control boards.
• Strong presentation, public speaking, and technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on, instructor‑led, and virtual training sessions on troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair techniques, and safe installation of home appliances.
• Design manuals, training modules, e‑learning content, video tutorials, and job aids; translate specifications into accessible materials.
• Develop evaluation methods, practical tests, and certification programs to measure technical competency.
• Track training metrics, post‑training performance, and completion rates; report insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Field Service to stay updated on product changes and field failures.

Training Delivery & Execution

• Conduct hands‑on, instructor‑led, and virtual training sessions on technical troubleshooting, component diagnostics, repair techniques, and safe installation of home appliances.
• Delivering and continuous improvement of technical training programs for domestic appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, HVAC, SHA,Cooking equipment, dishwashers).
• Train staff on electrical schematics, PCB troubleshooting, sealed refrigeration systems, inverter technologies, and smart home/IoT features.
• This role equips field service technicians, call centre agents and internal teams with the hands‑on technical skills and product knowledge required for effective diagnostics, repair, installation, and customer support.
• Reduction of Repeat Repair calls(RR), Repeat part Demand (RPD), Multiple Part Demands(MPD), NTF(No Trouble Found).
• Increase in CES ( Customer Experience Score)

Curriculum & Content Development

• Design comprehensive technical manuals, training modules, interactive e-learning content, video tutorials, and job aids.
• Translate complex engineering specifications into easy‑to‑understand training materials.

Knowledge & Skill Assessment

• Develop evaluation methods, practical tests, and certification programs to measure technical competency among service networks.
• Track and report training metrics, post‑training performance, and completion rates.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Field Service teams to stay updated on product updates, engineering changes, and frequent field failures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 35+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or technical training specifically within the consumer electronics or major home appliances industry.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems, thermodynamics/refrigeration, hydronics, motors, control boards, and safety compliance (e.g., handling flammable refrigerants like R600a).
• Communication: Strong presentation, public speaking, and technical writing capabilities.
• Tools & Software: Proficiency with diagnostic equipment (multimeters, leak detectors, recovery pumps), LMS (Learning Management Systems), and authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, or similar).
• Education: Associate's degree, Trade Certification, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
