Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration equipment such as cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, piping, etc.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, refrigerants, piping, and controls.
• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, Production, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day technical and production activities related to commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to the production team for manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure production processes are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and production plans.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, piping, electrical controls, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Quality, Purchase, Service, and R&D teams for resolving production-related issues.
• Monitor production efficiency, productivity, rejection, rework, and downtime and take corrective actions.
• Ensure proper testing and performance evaluation of refrigeration and HVAC equipment before dispatch.

About the Role:

• Provide technical guidance to the production team for manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of Refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration equipment such as cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, condensing units, refrigeration systems, etc.
• Good understanding of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, refrigerants, piping, and controls.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, air-conditioning systems, cooling systems, and related components.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, Production, or related engineering discipline.
• Relevant technical certifications in Refrigeration/HVAC will be an added advantage.
• 812 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, or allied equipment.
• Candidates with strong hands-on experience in refrigeration and HVAC manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and production management will be preferred.
