Job summary

Solinas Integrity is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform field service, installation, and repair of robot systems across the Central India zone. You will diagnose issues, service electronics and mechanical assemblies, and ensure timely resolutions at customer sites.

You will travel extensively within the assigned zone, coordinate with supervisors, maintain service records, and provide basic usage guidance to customers.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in servicing FMCG appliances (washing machines, mixers, fans preferred)
• Strong understanding of basic electronics (wiring, PCB-level basics, motor circuits)
• Mechanical systems (motors, bearings, moving parts)
• ITI / Diploma / Certification in Mechatronics preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned region

Responsibilities

• Field Service & Repairs: Install, service, and repair robots; diagnose issues across electrical/electronic components and mechanical assemblies; ensure timely resolution during field visits.
• Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Identify root causes using structured troubleshooting; differentiate between electrical faults and mechanical wear.
• Preventive & Routine Maintenance: Conduct periodic checks to prevent breakdowns; ensure appliances operate efficiently post-service.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers on-site; explain issues and repairs clearly; provide basic usage guidance.
• Spare Parts & Tools Management: Identify required spare parts; coordinate for parts replacement; handle tools properly.
• Service Reporting & Documentation: Update service details after each visit; maintain accurate service records and send replacements documentation to HQ.
• Travel & Field Coordination: Travel extensively within zone; coordinate with supervisors for scheduling and escalation.

We are hiring Maintenance Technicians to handle on-ground service and repair of our different types of robots. This is a field-intensive role requiring strong hands-on capability in electronics and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently. The role involves extensive travel within the assigned zone and direct interaction with customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Service & Repairs

• Perform installation, servicing, and repair different kind of robots
• Diagnose issues across:
• Electrical/electronic components
• Mechanical assemblies
• Ensure effective and timely resolution during field visits.

2. Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting

• Identify root causes of failures using structured troubleshooting.
• Differentiate between:
• Electrical faults
• Mechanical wear and tear
• Usage-related issues
• Minimize repeat visits through accurate diagnosis.

3. Preventive & Routine Maintenance

• Conduct periodic maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns.
• Ensure appliances operate efficiently post-service.
• Follow defined service checklists and SOPs.

4. Customer Interaction

• Interact directly with customers at site:
• Explain issues and repairs clearly
• Provide basic usage guidance to avoid recurring problems
• Maintain professional conduct and service quality.

5. Spare Parts & Tools Management

• Identify required spare parts for repairs.
• Ensure proper usage and handling of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate for parts replacement where required.

6. Service Reporting & Documentation

• Update service details after each visit:
• Issue identified
• Action taken
• Parts replaced
• Maintain accurate service records for tracking and analysis.
• Preserve the replaced parts and compile a document and send it to head quarters for further Analysys

7. Travel & Field Coordination

• Travel extensively within assigned zone (city clusters).
• Coordinate with supervisors for scheduling and escalation.

Zone-wise Deployment

• Central India: Bhopal, Indore, Raipur
