Job summary

Microland Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Technical Specialist - Network & Security to design and implement enterprise network and security solutions. You will work with Client IT teams to ensure designs meet requirements and are aligned with IT strategy.

The role requires hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, F5, Meraki and Checkpoint technologies, plus cloud networking concepts. You will configure, troubleshoot, document and train; engage with vendors for solution evaluation and

Qualifications

• Engineer degree in BE/BTech/MCA with networking and security expertise.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and security technologies.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP/ECMS2/PCNSE are advantageous.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting OEM network gear.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and develop network designs aligned with IT strategy.
• Participate in solution design and execution with Customer IT teams.
• Configure and troubleshoot SD-WAN/LAN/WLAN security gear per standards.
• Monitor performance and optimize network solutions to meet business needs.
• Document solutions, create SOPs, and train team members as needed.
• Interface with vendors for evaluation, implementation, and support.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration with existing systems.
• Working on escalation resolution for complex network issues and outages.
• Maintaining SOPs and knowledge articles.

Analysing the business requirement, project scope and developing network design and roadmaps for technology solutions that align with the organization s overall IT strategy and goals.

• Participating in solution design and execution
• Collaborating with Customer IT teams, to ensure that the Design solutions meet the organization s network & security requirements.
• Configuring and troubleshooting different OEM Products, to ensure proper operation of the SD-WAN/LAN/WLAN according to the architectural design and standards.
• Aligning with the changing Network solutions and architectures to keep up with the changing business needs, technologies and industry standards.
• Monitoring the performance of the solution to identify and resolve any issues, and making adjustments as needed to improve performance.
• Documenting the solution and providing training to other team members as needed.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the solutions and architectures
• Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure that the solution integrates with existing systems.
• Interface with Vendors regarding evaluation, implementation, and support of deployed network gear.
• Work on resolution of complex or escalated issues or network outages.
• Manage SOPs, Knowledge documents, KB articles.
