FoundWise in India is seeking a Senior Tech Recruiter to lead end-to-end hiring for niche technology and leadership roles across engineering, product, and technology leadership. This role partners with founders to understand requirements, tech stacks, and culture to build strong pipelines.

You will source through networks, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach, focusing on passive candidates, manage interview coordination, and track key metrics to improve hiring effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 48 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, with niche tech and leadership focus.
• Experience hiring for specialized tech roles and leadership positions.
• Experience in startups or high-growth environments.
• Strong sourcing and screening skills in partnership with managers and founders.

Job Title: Senior Tech Recruiter - Startup Hiring

Location: Pune/ Mumbai/ Bengaluru

We are an HR advisory firm specializing in leadership hiring and partnering with companies to build strong people practices and efficient processes.

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Tech Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in niche tech and leadership tech hiring, preferably with experience in startup hiring or high-growth environments, with a proactive approach to building talent pipelines and identifying high-caliber candidates across engineering, product, and technology leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end recruitment cycle for niche technology and leadership roles within the organization: from requirement intake and sourcing to offer closure.
• Partner with hiring managers and founders to understand role requirements, tech stacks, and team culture.
• Source and engage candidates through professional networks, referrals, job boards, tech communities, and direct outreach, with a focus on passive and high-impact talent.
• Screen candidates for technical depth, leadership potential, problem-solving ability, and cultural alignment across specialized roles (e.g., senior/lead engineers, architects, engineering managers, heads of engineering, CTO, VP/Director-level tech roles).
• Manage interview coordination, ensuring a seamless and high-quality client and candidate experience.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill tech and leadership roles; ensure timely and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance, quality of hire) to continuously improve hiring effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• 48 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, with a strong focus on niche technology and leadership hiring.
• Proven track record of hiring for specialized tech roles (e.g., backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, data engineering, AI/ML, security, platform engineering) and technology leadership roles (Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, CTO, VP/Director of Engineering).
• Experience working with startups or high-growth environments, with exposure to fast-paced, evolving hiring needs.
• Strong sourcing and screening skills, with the ability to assess technical and leadership roles in partnership with hiring managers and founders.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills; comfortable influencing and advising senior leaders on hiring strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple critical searches simultaneously with a structured, data-driven, and confidential approach.
