Job summary

Microland is seeking a skilled ServiceNow professional to design and implement end-to-end solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and Service Portal. You will lead development, configuration, and integrations, ensuring governance and security across deployments.

The role requires strong JavaScript, Glide scripting, and REST/SOAP integration proficiency, plus experience with agile project practices. India-based, on-site position with opportunities for innovation and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in computer science or information technology or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business outcomes into solutions.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules ITSM/ITOM and Service Portal.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide scripting, AngularJS, REST API, SOAP and integration techniques.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate into ServiceNow solutions.

Responsibilities

Solution Design and Development

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into comprehensive ServiceNow solutions.

Design and architect end-to-end solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform while aligning with industry best practices and organizational goals.

Create technical designs, workflows, integrations, and customizations to meet complex business requirements.

Platform Customization and Configuration

Lead the configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Service Portal.

Develop and implement custom applications, modules, UI policies, scripts, and integrations to extend platform functionality.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, administrators, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines for ServiceNow development.

Integration and Automation

Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, both internal and external, using REST APIs, web services, and other integration methods.

Develop automation solutions to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve user experience.

Performance Optimization and Scalability

Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability improvements within the ServiceNow platform.

Conduct thorough performance testing, troubleshooting, and tuning to ensure optimal platform responsiveness and reliability.

Governance and Security

Establish and enforce governance practices for ServiceNow configuration, development, and deployment.

Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure the security and compliance of ServiceNow solutions.

Documentation and Training

Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture, design specifications, and deployment guides.
