Job summary

Skillventory is seeking an Equipment Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical systems. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a proactive attitude to complete tasks ahead of schedule.

Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and excellent English communication. Travel, long hours, and off-shift work may be required; experience in Solar or Semiconductors manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or above.
• 4+ years' experience as an Equipment Engineer.
• Demonstrated leadership, presentation, team-building and communications.
• Energetic with drive to get things done ahead of plan.
• Analytical, communication, project management, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel / work off shift and long hours.
• High fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Experience in Solar or Semiconductors manufacturing is advantageous.
• Hands-on plant start-up & Lean Maintenance System development experience is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, PLCs, PCs and Robotics advantageous.
• Knowledge of Electropneumatic / Vacuum systems advantageous.

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics or above in Engineering in a recognized University. Good honours degree preferred.


• 4+ years working experience as an Equipment Engineer preferred


• Demonstrated leadership skill, good presentation, team-building and communications


• Must be highly energetic and have the drive to get things done ahead of plan.


• Skills and abilities to perform job include: analytical communication, presentation skills, project management, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, computer literacy, interpersonal skills, exercises mature judgment; ability to work in a team, as well as, independently; ability to influence other people


• Willingness to travel / work off shift and long hours


• High fluency in both spoken and written English


• Working experience in Solar or Semiconductors manufacturing industry is advantageous


• Hands-on experience with plant start-up & Lean Maintenance System development will be advantageous


• Possess hands-on experience / strong capability in equipment troubleshooting, engineering methods for equipment controls involving PLCs, PCs, and Robotics will be advantageous.

Knowledge of Electropneumatic / Vacuum system would be advantageous
