Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering is essential.

• Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment required.
• Experience: 3–5 years in electrical maintenance in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Preventive Maintenance and Inspections: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, adhering to established protocols to minimize downtime and prevent electrical failures.
• Inventory and Spare Parts Management: Manage inventory of electrical components and spare parts, ensuring accurate records and timely procurement to maintain optimal operational readiness and support ongoing maintenance activities.
• Shift-Based Maintenance: Perform electrical maintenance during assigned shifts to ensure reliable system operation.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize production disruptions.
• Equipment Monitoring: Monitor electrical equipment performance using advanced tools to detect and prevent potential failures. Use data analysis to maintain optimal functionality and reduce downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and ensure reliability. Coordinate with shift engineers for consistent maintenance practices.
• Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations. Implement corrective actions to address hazards and improve workplace safety.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support during shifts, assisting with equipment start-up and shutdown to ensure smooth operations and support production goals.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and shift reports of maintenance activities and issues. Ensure documentation is up-to-date for shift handovers and compliance.
