Job summary

NIIT is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our global operations. The role focuses on desk-side and network support within a robust learning and technology environment.

You will handle end-user support, maintain desktops, and ensure connectivity across intranet and internet, while coordinating with external providers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in CS/IT and 5–8+ years of hands-on system administration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with end-user support and IT infrastructure monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support to end users.
• Perform desktop maintenance, installations, AV, and Windows updates.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and ensure compliance.
• Manage connectivity: end-user devices to intranet and internet, plus VPN/Extranet.
• Liaise with ISPs and service providers for service delivery.
• Support international and domestic contact center operations.
• Maintain accounts: account IDs and mailboxes; monitor server and network events.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Responsible for Helpdesk support to end users.
• Desktop Maintenance activities Installation, AV, Windows update, general upkeep
• Monitoring of IT Infrastructure; Links/Compliance
• Responsible for providing connectivity. End-User devices/tools to Intranet and Internet connectivity. Involves managing Connectivity device Router, firewall, Ips, Switches, Wi-Fi access point, Physical Connectivity, VPN, Extranet. Liaising with ISP and other service providers on the delivery side of Services.
• - International and Domestic Contact Center
• Technology are from Microsoft for systems/Application and Cisco/HP on networking. MS SQL, SharePoint, Exchange, Active Directory, TATA Contact center
• Account Management (Account ID & Mailboxes)
• Server and Network event monitoring etc.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering
