Job summary

NIIT is seeking an IT Helpdesk professional to support end users and maintain desktop and network environments in Gurugram. The role covers Windows updates, AV management and ensuring reliable connectivity for intranet and internet access.

You will work with Microsoft products and Cisco/HP networking in a global support context. The ideal candidate will handle IT infrastructure monitoring, server/event awareness, and account/mailbox administration while liaising with service providers to ensure

Qualifications

• End-user technical support across desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Experience with Windows OS updates, antivirus and patching.
• Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support to end users.
• Perform desktop maintenance: AV, Windows updates, general upkeep.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and ensure compliance.
• Manage connectivity: routers, firewalls, VPN, ISP coordination.
• Support international and domestic contact centers.
• Work with Microsoft technologies and Cisco/HP networking.
• Oversee account management and mailbox administration.
• Monitor server and network events.

1. Responsible for Helpdesk support to end users.


2. Desktop Maintenance activities Installation, AV, Windows update, general upkeep


3. Monitoring of IT Infrastructure; Links/Compliance


4. Responsible for providing connectivity. End-User devices/tools to Intranet and Internet connectivity. Involves managing Connectivity device Router, firewall, Ips, Switches, Wi-Fi access point, Physical Connectivity, VPN, Extranet. Liaising with ISP and other service providers on the delivery side of Services.


5. International and Domestic Contact Center


6. Technology are from Microsoft for systems/Application and Cisco/HP on networking. MS SQL, SharePoint, Exchange, Active Directory, TATA Contact center


7. Account Management (Account ID & Mailboxes)
