Sterling Indo Tech Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and review of bridges and highway structures in Jaipur head office.

You will manage DPR assignments, detailed design calculations, and technical submissions for AE/IE projects while coordinating with EPC/HAM teams and clients. Ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong knowledge of IRC/IS/MoRTH codes, and hands-on capabilities in MIDAS Civil, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering; ME/M.Tech preferred for Structural Engineering.
• Experience in designing bridges and highway structures per DPR/Detailed Design.
• Proficient in MIDAS Civil, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD and related structural software.

Responsibilities

• Independently design major/minor bridges, flyovers, culverts and other highway structures.
• Review designs and submissions for Authority Engineer and Independent Engineer projects.
• Coordinate with highway, geotechnical, CAD/BIM and construction teams; ensure QA/QC.

About the Job:

Sterling Indo Tech Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer / Bridge Design & Review Engineer to join its Jaipur Head Office.

The role requires a senior structural professional capable of independently handling the design of bridges and highway structures for DPR assignments, as well as the technical review of structural submissions for Authority Engineer (AE) and Independent Engineer (IE) projects.

The candidate should have strong hands‑on design capability, sound engineering judgement, in-depth knowledge of applicable IRC/IS/MoRTH standards, and the ability to independently review and defend structural design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently carry out structural analysis and design of major/minor bridges, flyovers, viaducts, ROBs/RUBs, culverts, retaining structures and other highway structures
• Take structural schemes from concept/GAD stage through detailed design, calculations, drawings and final technical submission
• Design structures for DPR projects
• Review structural designs and submissions for Authority Engineer and Independent Engineer assignments
• Review designs submitted by EPC/HAM contractors, concessionaires, design consultants and proof consultants
• Review and comment on GADs, design calculations, structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, construction‑stage proposals and design modifications
• Carry out structural analysis and design using MIDAS Civil and STAAD.Pro
• Review and coordinate preparation of structural drawings using AutoCAD
• Review and coordinate BIM models and BIM‑based structural deliverables
• Ensure designs comply with applicable IRC, IS, MoRTH and other relevant codes, specifications and contractual requirements
• Review structural systems including RCC, prestressed concrete, superstructures, substructures and foundations
• Review/design pile foundations, open foundations, well foundations, piers, abutments, pier caps, bearings and associated bridge components
• Provide technical inputs for structure selection, preliminary sizing, feasibility assessment, BOQ/quantity inputs and DPR documentation
• Review construction‑stage structural aspects, erection methodology and other engineering proposals, wherever applicable
• Support technical evaluation of existing structures, rehabilitation/strengthening proposals and repair methodologies, where required
• Coordinate with highway, geotechnical, hydrology, drainage, CAD/BIM and construction teams
• Attend technical and design review meetings with clients, authorities, contractors, concessionaires and proof consultants
• Resolve technical observations and defend design decisions with sound engineering justification
• Guide and review the work of junior structural engineers, design engineers, CAD technicians and BIM personnel
• Ensure QA/QC, internal checking and technical quality control of structural deliverables prior to submission

Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in structural/bridge engineering
• Substantial experience in bridge and highway structural design
• Experience independently designing structures for DPR / Detailed Design assignments
• Experience reviewing structural designs for Authority Engineer / Independent Engineer projects
• Experience working on NHAI, MoRTH, State PWD, Expressway or similar major infrastructure projects will be preferred
• Prior experience with a reputed engineering consultancy, bridge design organization, EPC design team or proof consultancy will be an advantage

The candidate must be capable of independently designing structures for DPR/Detailed Design assignments and technically reviewing contractor/concessionaire structural submissions on Authority Engineer and Independent Engineer projects, with minimal supervision.
