Job summary

Egisgroup seeks a detail-oriented Design Engineer in Bengaluru to design, analyze, and develop bridge structures for transportation projects. You will leverage industry-standard software to produce drawings, calculations, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with IRC, IBC, and AASHTO guidelines.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assess geotechnical and environmental factors, and contribute to project proposals.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in bridge design or transportation infrastructure.
• Proficiency with bridge design and analysis software including AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or MIDAS Civil.
• Strong knowledge of design codes and standards such as IRC, IBC, and AASHTO guidelines.
• Solid understanding of structural analysis, material science (concrete and steel), and construction methodologies.
• Excellent technical drawing and CAD skills with the ability to produce detailed and accurate documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with project management and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze bridge structures using AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, and MIDAS Civil.
