You will ensure IS and international code compliance, mentor a small team, and coordinate with architects, MEP and construction teams while preparing technical reports and feasibility studies.

• Lead structural designand analysis for bridges (RCC/PSC/steel/composite), buildings(RCC/steel-framed, high-rise/low-rise), and underground structures (tunnels,basements, retaining structures, metro/utility structures).
• Develop conceptual,preliminary, and detailed designs, including structural calculations, drawings,and specifications.
• Ensure designs complywith applicable Indian codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 1893, IS 13920, IRC codes forbridges, IS 4995, etc.) and international codes (AASHTO, Eurocodes, BS, ACI,AISC, or others as per project geography).
• Perform structuralmodeling and analysis using industry-standard software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS,SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, Tekla, RAM, or equivalent).
• Carry out loadassessments — dead, live, seismic, wind, dynamic, and construction-stageloading — and design for constructability, durability, and code compliance.
• Review and validategeotechnical inputs for foundation and underground structure design (piling,diaphragm walls, shoring, tunneling interfaces).
• Lead, mentor, and managea small team of structural engineers and draftsmen — ensure quality control, and support technical development ofjunior staff.
• Coordinate witharchitects, MEP, geotechnical, and construction teams to ensure integrated,buildable designs.
• Liaise with clients,statutory authorities, and third-party checkers/proof consultants; respond todesign queries and audits.
• Prepare technicalreports, design basis reports, and calculation packages for internal andregulatory review.
• Support tendering,feasibility studies, and value engineering exercises.
• Ensure adherence toproject timelines, budgets, and quality/safety standards.
• Bachelor's/master's degree incivil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 8–15 years of structuraldesign experience, with demonstrated work across bridges, buildings, ANDunderground structures (not limited to one sector).
• Strong working knowledgeof Indian design codes (IS, IRC, IRS as applicable) and international codes(AASHTO LRFD, Eurocode, BS, ACI/AISC, or Middle East/Southeast Asiaequivalents, depending on target markets).
• Proficiency instructural analysis and design software: STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, MIDASCivil/GTS, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD/Revit.
• Sound understanding ofgeotechnical-structural interaction for foundations, retaining systems, andunderground works.
• Prior experience leadingor mentoring a small team (2–6 engineers), including quality review andtechnical guidance.
• Excellentreport-writing, documentation, and client-facing communication skills.
• Chartered Engineer / PE/ member of a recognized professional body (IStructE, ICE, ASCE, Institution ofEngineers India) is a strong plus.
• Exposure tointernational projects (Middle East, Southeast Asia, UK, or similar) alongsideIndian projects.
• Experience with BIMworkflows and coordination (Revit/Navisworks).
• Familiarity withproof-checking/third-party review processes.
• Strong problem-solvingmindset with attention to constructability and cost-efficiency.
