• 5–8 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Guidewire Claim Center.
• Proficient in automating test scripts using Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments and testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and automation testing for Guidewire Claim Center applications.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios from requirements and specifications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Identify, track, and retest defects throughout the lifecycle.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Testing with strong hands‑on experience in Guidewire Claim Center and Playwright Automation to contribute to quality engineering initiatives within the P&C insurance domain. The role involves testing Guidewire Claim Center applications, developing and maintaining automation solutions using Playwright, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and automation testing for Guidewire Claim Center applications.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Analyze business requirements and application specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve application issues.
• Contribute to improving automation coverage, testing efficiency, and overall software quality.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and support timely resolution of testing issues.
• Follow established testing standards, processes, and best practices.
• Work effectively within Agile development and testing teams.
• Communicate testing status, risks, issues, and progress to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Guidewire Claim Center.
• Strong experience with Playwright Automation.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and automation issues effectively.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and testing environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Good To Have

• Experience working in the P&C insurance domain.
• Additional experience with Guidewire applications or related insurance platforms.
• Exposure to other test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Relevant testing or Agile certifications.
