Job summary

ValueMomentum is hiring a Functional QA Tester with Guidewire expertise to validate InsuranceSuite applications and drive quality across testing activities. You will work with client stakeholders, offshore teams, and business users to understand requirements and deliver robust testing solutions.

The role requires solid hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter experience, knowledge of PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/Contact Manager, and strong P&C insurance domain understanding.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience testing Guidewire ClaimCenter configurations.
• Hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter and functional knowledge of PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Contact Manager.
• Strong P&C insurance knowledge (Personal & Commercial lines).
• Experience with Claims processes including FNOL, reserves, payments, etc.
• Manual testing experience for Guidewire Cloud upgrades/implementations.
• Guidewire automation testing and GT UI Framework experience.
• Experience with on-site/offshore delivery models and Agile.
• Guidewire Analyst Associate certification is required.
• ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable.

About The Job

As a Guidewire QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications and ensuring high-quality delivery across functional, integration, and automation testing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, developers, offshore QA teams, and business teams to understand requirements, identify system gaps, and deliver comprehensive testing solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter, with functional knowledge of PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Contact Manager. Strong P&C Insurance knowledge, experience in Guidewire Cloud projects, manual and automation testing, and familiarity with Guidewire GT UI Framework are essential for this role.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in testing Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and functional knowledge of PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Contact Manager.
• Strong understanding of P&C Insurance, including Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.
• Experience with Claims processes including FNOL, claims creation, reserves, checks, and other payment transactions.
• Experience in manual testing for Guidewire Cloud projects involving upgrades or implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with Guidewire automation testing and Guidewire GT UI Framework.
• Experience adapting testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience assessing gaps between business requirements and out‑of‑the‑box Guidewire functionalities.
• Strong technical skills in manual functional testing within continuous delivery environments.
• Experience with non‑functional testing in continuous delivery environments.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Hands‑on experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar tools.Experience working in an onsite‑offshore delivery model.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from leads or managers.
• Guidewire Analyst Associate certification is required.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable.
