Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in India is seeking a Guidewire ClaimCenter Functional Test Analyst for immediate joining. The role requires hands-on testing across Claims life cycle, Jira, and Guidewire tools.

You will contribute to end-to-end testing, agile ceremonies, test metrics, and dashboards; exposure to Digital portal testing and document testing. Pune/Hyderabad/Chennai preferred, with strong collaboration across product and development teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience on Guidewire Claim and testing.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter testing across Claims and Insurance.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Claims Life Cycle.
• Experience in Commercial and Specialty Insurance domain testing.
• Expertise in Guidewire Digital portal testing for customer, agent, broker journeys.
• Experience in Document and Correspondence Testing.
• Skilled in Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT Testing.
• Proficient in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scenarios.
• Experience in JIRA for defect tracking, test management, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and participation in ceremonies.
• Capable of preparing test metrics, status reports, and defect dashboards.
• Optional: API testing using Postman and automation (Selenium+Java+BDD).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end test cycles across QA phases.
• Collaborate with product, development, and business teams to validate requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and traceability.
• Track defects in JIRA and produce regular dashboards for stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Location: Preferred Pune, Hyderabad or Chennai

NP Immediate

JD with Must have skills:

Must Have: Extensive hands-on experience on Guidewire Claim, Functional testing, Jira

Hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter testing across Claims and Insurance applications.

Strong understanding of the end-to-end Claims Life Cycle, including FNOL, coverage validation, investigation, payments, and claim closure.

Experience in Commercial and Specialty Insurance domain testing.

Expertise in Guidewire Digital portal testing for customer, agent, and broker journeys.

Experience in Document and Correspondence Testing, including letters, notices, PDFs, emails, and regulatory communications.

Skilled in Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT Testing.

Proficient in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scenarios.

Experienced in JIRA for defect tracking, test management, and reporting.

Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and participation in Agile ceremonies.

Capable of preparing test metrics, status reports, and defect dashboards for stakeholders.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Optional: API testing using postman and automation (Selenium+Java+BDD)
