Job summary

NVIDIA Gruppe in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and develop safety- and security-compliant software for the NVIDIA DRIVE platform. You will drive bring-up for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and architect software across diverse OS flavors.

The role demands strong C/C++ and Python, OS fundamentals, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to tackle complex interactions in a large DRIVE software stack.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering with 5+ years of embedded software experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture, OS fundamentals and embedded software.
• Experience in Pre-Silicon/Bring-up, Bootloaders, RTOS or scalable software architectures.
• Strong Python/C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop safety (ISO26262) and security (ISO21434) compliant system software for NVIDIA DRIVE.
• Perform development and bring-up activities for next-gen Tegra SOC hardware and systems.
• Architect and design software for unified, scalable DRIVE platform across multiple OS flavors.
• Troubleshoot and implement solutions to complex interactions across the DRIVE software stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop safety (ISO26262) and security (ISO21434) compliant system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles
• Perform development & bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and Systems
• Architect and Design Software for different OS flavours where software is Unified and Scalable on DRIVE platform
• Architect and Implement solutions to sophisticated issues & defects involving complex interactions between components partitioned across the large DRIVE Platform software stack

Qualifications

• BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering and more than 5 years of experience embedded systems software design and development
• Proven understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals and Embedded SW
• Strong experience in one of the areas of Pre-Silicon/Bring-up activities or Bootloaders or RTOS based development or Scalable SW architectures
• Strong Python/C/C++ programming and debugging skills
• A strong teammate; passionate for work and self-motivated with a positive approach!

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Experience in taking features from inception to the product following the Software Development Process and Hands-on experience with ISO26262 and ISO21434.
• Hands-on experience with Bootloaders or RTOS or SoC Pre-Silicon/Bring-up.
