Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to join our Automotive Team in India and help develop safe, secure, high-performance automotive software for the DRIVE platform. You will work on ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 compliant systems across Linux and RTOS environments, with bring-up and bootloader expertise highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ISO 26262 safety and ISO 21434 security compliant system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles.
• Perform development and bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and systems.
• Architect and design software for different OS flavours where software is unified and scalable on DRIVE platform.
• Architect and implement solutions to sophisticated issues and defects involving complex interactions between components across the DRIVE Platform software stack.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop ISO 26262 safety and ISO 21434 security compliant system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles.

What We Need To See

• BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering and more than five years of experience in embedded systems software design and development.
• Proven understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals and embedded software.
• Strong experience in one of the areas of pre‑silicon/bring‑up activities, bootloaders, or RTOS based development or scalable software architectures.
• Strong Python, C, and C++ programming and debugging skills.
• A strong teammate; passionate about work and self‑motivated with a positive approach.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Experience in taking features from inception to product following the software development process and hands‑on experience with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
• Hands‑on experience with bootloaders or RTOS or SoC pre‑silicon/bring‑up.
