Job summary

Luminous Power Technologies invites a Data Engineer to drive end-to-end data projects in Azure, transforming data into actionable insights for business teams.

You will analyze requirements, contribute to architecture and design of ML projects, and work on data from inception to deployment, including unstructured data. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and ETL tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
• 0–4 years in data engineering/science/analytics
• Experience with Azure cloud services and building ML projects
• Strong Python/R, SQL (advanced joins/procedures), and data modeling
• Experience with ETL, OLAP, KPI reporting

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and contribute to ML project architecture
• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain ML projects in Azure
• Work with unstructured data and build data pipelines

Qualification/ Personal Attributes

Qualification

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience

• 0-4 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering/Data Science/Data Mining/Data Analysis
• Have understanding & experience in applying traditional statistical, machine learning, deep learning, to address business problems
• Experience of building and deploying Predictive Models (with Azure Cloud services) will be an added advantage
• Experience with Azure Cloud service
• Dataset Design, Data Aggregation, Data Cleansing & Data Profiling ability
• Experience in ETL and OLAP Cubes
• Have handled large volume of data independently
• Experience in Data Migration
• Creating KPIs and Map based reports
• Strong experience in coding using Python and R
• Strong experience in SQL and its advanced functionalities (joins, nested queries & procedures)
• Hands on experience in DAX queries
• Power/Energy/Solar Domain experience will be an added advantage
