Mobileum is hiring SDETs to design, build, and maintain automated tests for telecom products. You will write high-quality automation code, broaden coverage across UI/API/E2E, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

This role is coding-centric and requires strong programming skills, experience with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress, and collaboration with developers and the SDET Tech Lead to ensure reliable, scalable testing in cloud-native environments.

Competenze

• 5–8 years in test automation / SDET roles.
• BE/B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech or MSc in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA.
• Strong programming and automation framework experience.
• Experience in UI/API/E2E testing.
• Familiarity with telecom data and protocols is a plus.

Reports To: Technical Lead – SDET

About the Job:

We are hiring SDETs to design, build, and maintain automated tests for Mobileum's telecom products. You will write high-quality automation code, expand coverage across UI/API/E2E layers, integrate tests into CI/CD, and help ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of complex, cloud-native systems.

This is a coding-centric quality role — you'll build automation as engineering assets and partner closely with developers and your Technical Lead.

Test Automation

• Design and build automated tests across UI, API, integration, and E2E layers.
• Contribute to and extend shared automation frameworks and utilities.
• Create and maintain reliable regression suites; drive down flakiness.

Quality Engineering

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.
• Write clear, reproducible defect reports with strong root-cause analysis.
• Validate service behavior, API contracts, and data integrity in distributed systems.

CI/CD Integration

• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
• Support shift-left testing and automated quality gates.
• Help maintain test environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Work with developers, the SDET Tech Lead, and DevOps to build in testability.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress; TestNG/PyTest.
• CI/CD integration and Git-based workflows.
• Understanding of SDLC, test design techniques, and quality metrics.
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes for test environments.

Telecom Domain

• Familiarity with telecom/roaming data and protocols (GTP, Diameter, SS7) — or strong willingness to ramp.

Technical skills

• Strong programming and automation framework experience.
• Solid debugging skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and a collaborative, ownership mindset.

Good to have

• Performance/load testing exposure (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
• OpenShift/Kubernetes and cloud-native testing.

Work Experience

5–8 years in test automation / SDET roles

Educational Qualification

BE. / B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA
