Mobileum is seeking a highly skilled Java Technical Architect to design, develop, and deploy scalable telecom software for next‑generation infrastructure. You will lead backend architecture, APIs, and system integrations, ensuring high performance and reliability across global networks.

The role emphasizes deep telecom protocol knowledge, cross‑functional collaboration, and mentoring while exploring GenAI-powered copilots and autonomous configuration within the NTR platform.

Qualifications

• Core Java knowledge and strong Java development experience.
• Experience with telecom protocols and systems (MAP, CAP, Diameter, GTP).
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable telecom software.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, test automation, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications for telecom platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end features, including APIs and system integrations.
• Work with telecom protocols (MAP, CAP, Diameter, GTP) and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership in the team.

Role: Technical Architect - Java

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Technical Architect with strong expertise in Java development, deep understanding of Telecom protocols and systems You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and intelligent software solutions that power next-generation telecom infrastructure and services.

About NTR:

NTR (Network Traffic Redirector) is Mobileum's flagship in-path roaming traffic steering solution, deployed across 600+ operator networks worldwide and engineered for five-nines availability. Built on Core Java, RAID (our no-code/low-code UI and ETL platform), Couchbase, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Kubernetes/OpenShift, NTR steers roaming traffic in real time at carrier scale. We're now building agentic, GenAI-powered copilot capabilities on top of NTR, enabling autonomous configuration, natural-language operator assistance, and intelligent, self-healing traffic-steering decisions.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications for telecom platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end features, including backend logic, APIs, and system integrations.
• Work with telecom protocols such as MAP, CAP, Diameter, GTP, etc.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, test automation, and cloud deployment.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership in the team.

Agentic AI & GenAI

Proven experience architecting production LLM/agentic systems: multi-agent orchestration, tool/function calling, RAG

Deep familiarity with agent frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar) and Python

Strong grasp of vector databases, context/memory management, and agent evaluation, safety, and observability practices

Desired Profile: -

We need strong JAVA candidates. If you have some other,

• Ability to debug issues with Java profiler and garbage collections.
• Preferable - Able to understand frameworks and CPP code flows.
• Preferably worked on Linux and has knowledge of database - RDBMS and in memory like Redis/Couchbase.
