Job summary

Ajfan International Retails in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Senior Site Project Manager to oversee projects from planning to handover. You will manage site operations, timelines, manpower, contractors, quality, safety, materials, and overall delivery.

The role requires coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure scope, quality, cost, and schedule are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant project/site management experience.
• Experience handling large-scale construction, commercial, retail, hospitality, interior fit-out, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience managing multiple contractors and large site teams will have an advantage.

The candidate will be responsible for site operations, project timelines, manpower, contractors, quality, safety, materials, and overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete execution of projects at the site level from commencement to handover.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is progressing according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets.
• Manage manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and other site resources effectively.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical, operational, and coordination issues.
• Ensure construction/fit-out activities comply with approved quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Monitor project costs and control unnecessary expenses.
• Ensure proper documentation, measurements, reports, and project records are maintained.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials at the site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports for management.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover.
• Ensure projects are completed according to agreed scope, quality, cost, and timeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1015 years of relevant project/site management experience.
• Experience handling large-scale construction, commercial, retail, hospitality, interior fit-out, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
