Job summary

Joyalukkas in India is seeking a seasoned Site Engineer for commercial and retail projects in Kerala. You will plan, supervise, and monitor day-to-day site execution activities and coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Ideal candidates will read architectural/MEP drawings, manage manpower and materials, monitor schedules, and conduct safety checks to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8–12 years in site execution for commercial/retail/high-rise projects.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor day-to-day site execution activities.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Manage site manpower, subcontractors, and material resources efficiently.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
• Identify site issues proactively and implement corrective measures.
• Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work progress.
• Coordinate procurement requirements and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Ensure proper documentation, including site records, inspection reports, and permits.
