ob Description – Senior Site Engineer (RCC & Finishing Execution)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer – RCC & Finishing Execution with 5–8 years of experience in residential real estate/high-rise construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing RCC structural works and finishing activities while ensuring quality, safety, timely completion, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. RCC & Structural Execution

• Supervise and execute RCC works, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and shear walls.
• Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and concrete pouring activities.
• Ensure execution as per approved structural drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate concrete testing, slump tests, cube casting, and quality inspections.
• Ensure proper construction practices and resolve site-level technical issues.

2. Finishing Works Execution

• Supervise blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, and other finishing activities.
• Ensure finishing works meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of finishing activities.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate snag identification and rectification.

3. Site Management & Coordination

• Manage day-to-day site execution and allocate work to contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and project managers.
• Monitor manpower, materials, machinery, and site resources.
• Ensure smooth coordination between RCC, finishing, and MEP activities.

4. Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality checklists.
• Identify execution defects and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Follow site safety procedures and ensure safe working practices.

5. Progress Monitoring & Documentation

• Monitor daily and weekly construction progress against project schedules.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
• Track material requirements and contractor work progress.
• Report delays, site issues, and execution challenges to the Project Manager.
• Strong knowledge of RCC structural and finishing execution.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and finishing activities.
• Contractor and subcontractor management.
• Site planning, coordination, and execution skills.
• Good problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of quality standards and construction safety practices.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in civil construction/site execution.
• Experience in residential real estate and high-rise building projects preferred.
• Hands-on experience in both RCC structural work and finishing execution is essential.
