Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an Engineer / Senior Engineer - Civil Execution for on-site work at high-rise project sites. The role involves day-to-day site execution, supervision of construction activities, coordination with subcontractors, ensuring quality compliance and monitoring progress as per project schedule.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and possess a minimum of five years of experience in high-rise construction.

• Experience in RCC, masonry, plastering and finishing works.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute daily construction activities including RCC, masonry, plastering and finishing works.
• Ensure work is carried out per approved drawings, specifications and construction methodology.
• Monitor progress and report status to the Tower Incharge.
• Assist in planning daily and weekly activities; ensure materials, manpower and equipment are available.
• Supervise subcontractors and labour teams; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks; coordinate corrective actions.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in toolbox talks.
• Maintain daily progress records and documentation for billing.
• Coordinate with planning, billing, quality and procurement teams for execution support.

Role Overview

The Engineer / Senior Engineer - Civil Execution will be responsible forday-to-day site execution activities of assigned work areas within the tower. The role involvessupervision of construction activities, coordination with subcontractors, ensuring quality compliance, and monitoring progress as per project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

Supervise and executedaily construction activities including RCC, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.

Ensure work is carried outas per approved drawings, specifications, and construction methodology.

Monitor progress of assigned work areas and report status to theTower Incharge.

Work Planning & Monitoring

Assist the Tower Incharge inplanning daily and weekly work activities.

Ensureavailability of materials, manpower, and equipment required for smooth execution.

Trackdaily progress and productivity of site activities.

Subcontractor Supervision

Supervise work performed bysubcontractors and labour teams.

Ensure subcontractors followconstruction drawings, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Monitor subcontractor productivity and report delays or issues.

Quality Control

Ensure construction activities comply withproject quality standards and specifications.

Conductsite inspections and quality checks during execution.

Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions.

Safety Compliance

Ensure all workers followsite safety procedures and safety guidelines.

Participate insafety inspections and toolbox talks.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintaindaily progress records and site reports.

Assist inquantity verification and measurement for billing purposes.

Maintain records related todrawings, work execution, and inspections.

Coordination

Coordinate withplanning, billing, quality, and procurement teams for execution support.

Communicate site issues and technical challenges to theTower Incharge for timely resolution.

Technical Skills Required

Good knowledge ofRCC works, structural execution, masonry, and finishing works.

Ability to read and understandconstruction drawings and specifications.

Understanding ofconstruction sequencing in high-rise projects.

Knowledge ofbasic quantity estimation and measurement.

Proficiency inMS Excel and AutoCAD.
