Job summary

Tuv in Pune seeks an experienced Project Engineer – RCC for high-rise building projects. You will oversee RCC execution, coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time completion of structural activities.

The ideal candidate holds BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering and 8–10 years of relevant experience in building construction, with strong RCC exposure on multi-storey/high-rise projects, reinforcement, formwork systems and thorough site

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in building construction.
• Strong experience in RCC execution of high-rise residential/commercial buildings.
• Experience on multi-storey/high-rise projects.
• Good knowledge of reinforcement, formwork systems, concreting, structural drawings and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise RCC works for high-rise buildings, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls and associated structural works.
• Manage day-to-day site execution as per approved drawings, specifications and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects and internal project teams.
• Monitor reinforcement, shuttering/formwork and concreting activities.
• Ensure proper checking of reinforcement, formwork levels, dimensions and concrete quality before casting.
• Plan manpower, materials, machinery and site resources to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Monitor construction progress and identify delays or execution constraints.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements and approved construction methodologies.
• Review drawings and highlight discrepancies or site-related technical issues.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety teams for inspections and compliance.
• Maintain site records, DPRs, checklists, measurement records and progress reports.
• Ensure timely completion of RCC activities as per the approved project programme.

Candidate Profile

• B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in building construction.
• Strong experience in RCC execution of high-rise residential/commercial buildings.
• Candidates should have experience working on multi-storey / high-rise projects.
• Good knowledge of reinforcement, formwork systems, concreting, structural drawings and construction sequencing.
• Exposure to Mivan / Aluminium Formwork / conventional formwork will be preferred.
• Strong site coordination, contractor management and execution skills.
• Good understanding of quality and safety practices in high-rise construction.
• Experience on 40–50+ floor high-rise building projects will be preferred.
