Job summary

Morningstar is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and develop ServiceNow applications across HRSD, HAM, SAM, ITSM, and CMDB. You will collaborate with the platform team and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs and deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience with at least two modules and proficiency in integration, data migration, and reporting. AI skills are a plus, and agile methods are valued.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience as a ServiceNow Developer, preferably with HRSD/ HAM /Now Assist Virtual Agent/ITSM/CMDB product expertise (Minimum 6 years of experience in ServiceNow Development for any 2 modules except ITSM).
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices for IT Service Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• ServiceNow mainline certification like CAD /HRSD/ CMDB/ SAM is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• ServiceNow Configuration and Development: design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow applications, modules, flows, and interfaces to meet HRSD, HAM, SAM, ITSM, Now Assist Virtual Agent and CMDB requirements.
• Service Catalog Development: create and maintain a user-friendly Service Catalog with offerings, workflows, and SLAs.
• Integration and Data Migration: integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and third-party apps; manage data migration tasks.
• Reporting and Dashboards: develop custom reports and executive dashboards; experience with Performance Analytics is a plus.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: conduct testing for configurations and developments; drive test automation.
• Documentation: maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all configurations and developments.
• Proactive Improvement: identify opportunities for improvements and provide recommendations.
• Continuous Learning: stay up-to-date with latest ServiceNow features and best practices.

• ServiceNow Configuration and Development: Experience with the design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow applications, modules, flows, and interfaces to meet the organization's HRSD, HAM, SAM, ITSM, Now Assist Virtual Agent and/or CMDB requirements. Hands experience on minimum 2 module's required. Experience with AI skills/studio is plus.


• Strong knowledge and experience across ServiceNow product and process areas; HRSD, HAM, SAM,CMDB and ITSM preferred.


• Service Catalog Development: Create and maintain a user-friendly Service Catalog, including service offerings, request workflows, and service-level agreements (SLAs).


• Collaborate across the ServiceNow platform team and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and functional requirements for ServiceNow solutions


• Integration and Data Migration: Collaborate with other teams to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and third-party applications. Manage data migration tasks when required. Minimum 2-3 end to end hands on integration done in past.


• Reporting and Dashboards: Develop custom reports, performance analytics, and executive dashboards in ServiceNow to provide real-time insights into IT/HR service performance and key metrics. Experience with Performance Analytics a plus.


• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, tools, and best practices.


• Proactive Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvements and provides recommendations for improvements to optimize ServiceNow solutions.


• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations and developments to ensure system stability, reliability, and accuracy. Lead and drive for test automation.


• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and developments.
