Job summary

Amber is a global student accommodation marketplace helping students find housing near top universities. As an SEO Analyst, you will join our Organic Growth team to execute hands-on SEO across technical, programmatic, and AI-driven workflows for global markets.

You will work with the SEO Lead to improve organic performance on thousands of pages (city, university, property pages) and build automated processes to reduce manual effort. This role is on-site in Pune's Viman Nagar.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (preferably in product/startup environments).
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and on-page optimization.
• Experience with tools like GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush.
• Familiarity with programmatic SEO and large-scale websites.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in SEO workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and execution mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute SEO initiatives across technical, on-page, and content workflows.
• Maintain high-quality execution with clear documentation and timelines.
• Optimize large-scale page sets (city, university, property pages).
• Identify and fix keyword cannibalization and content gaps.
• Manage crawlability, indexation, redirects, and structured data.
• Support audits, Core Web Vitals monitoring, and site health improvements.
• Work on AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and LLM visibility.
• Improve content structure for AI-driven search and retrieval.
• Track and report SEO performance (GSC, GA4, etc.).
• Build automation workflows to reduce manual effort.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an SEO Analyst to join our Organic Growth team. This is a hands-on execution role, focused on delivering high-impact SEO work across technical SEO, programmatic pages, and AI-driven workflows. You’ll work directly with the SEO Lead and contribute to improving organic performance across global markets.
