Job summary

Amber is building an AI-first decision intelligence function to power major business goals. This leadership role focuses on growth analytics, revenue optimization, and AI-driven workflows across growth, operations, partnerships, product and finance.

You will lead a cross-functional team of analysts, data scientists, and AI engineers, partnering with founders and executives to shape strategy and execute the analytics roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across Analytics, Data Science, Growth Analytics, Revenue Analytics, AI, or related fields.
• Experience leading analytics and data teams in high-growth internet, marketplace, travel, e-commerce.
• Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through analytics and data initiatives.
• Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, or business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics agenda across the business and build an AI-first decision platform.
• Drive opportunities to optimize acquisition, conversion, retention, monetization, and efficiency.
• Lead AI roadmap, deploy predictive models, and develop copilot/self-serve intelligence tools for teams.
• Mentor analysts, data scientists, and analytics managers while partnering with Product, Eng, Finance and Ops.

We are looking for a leader who can combine business acumen, analytics, AI, and data science to improve decision-making, unlock new growth opportunities, automate workflows, and drive measurable business outcomes.

This role will work closely with the leadership team to build an AI-first decision intelligence function that powers every major business decision across growth, operations, supply, partnerships, product, and finance.

What You'll Own

Business & Growth Analytics

• Own the analytics agenda across the business
• Identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, retention, monetization, and operational efficiency
• Drive deep analysis of student journeys, booking funnels, cancellations, partner performance, and revenue drivers
• Partner with leadership on growth strategy, market expansion, and resource allocation decisions
• Build frameworks for measuring business performance across countries, destinations, universities, and partner segments
• Define and execute Amber's AI roadmap across analytics
• Build AI-powered decision support systems that proactively identify opportunities and risks
• Develop AI copilots and self-serve intelligence tools for business teams
• Leverage LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern AI tooling to automate analysis and decision-making processes
• Partner with business leaders to redesign workflows using AI
• Drive pricing, commission, profitability, and revenue optimization initiatives
• Build and lead a high-performing analytics, data science, and AI team
• Create a culture of hypothesis-driven and AI-enabled decision making
• Mentor analysts, data scientists, and analytics managers
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Partnerships teams

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 10+ years of experience across Analytics, Data Science, Growth Analytics, Revenue Analytics, AI, or related fields
• Experience leading analytics and data teams in high-growth internet, marketplace, travel, e-commerce
• Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through analytics and data initiatives
• Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, or business leaders

AI & Data Expertise

• Strong understanding of modern AI ecosystems including LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, and workflow automation
• Experience deploying AI-driven solutions into business processes
• Familiarity with modern AI and data tooling ecosystems
• Experience building predictive models and operationalizing data science initiatives
• Strong understanding of experimentation and model evaluation frameworks

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL
• Strong Python or equivalent analytical programming expertise
• Strong statistical and analytical foundations
• Experience with modern data warehouses and analytics infrastructure
• Experience with BI platforms and self-serve analytics ecosystems
