Job summary

Lenskart is looking for a Senior Sales Associate to join our Retail Operations team in Kerala. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional customer experience, meeting store sales targets, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations in line with Lenskart standards.

You will guide customers on eyewear products, drive the sales journey, promote ongoing offers, and maintain merchandising, billing, and stock accuracy while upholding grooming and service SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred.
• 24 years of retail sales experience (optical / fashion / lifestyle preferred).
• Prior experience in a senior or supervisory role is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to customers on eyewear products including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and accessories.
• Drive store sales targets (conversion, AOV, UPT) and manage the sales journey.
• Mentor junior Sales Associates on product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Assist Store Manager with daily store activities and staff coordination.
• Ensure merchandising, POS operations, and cleanliness align with SOPs and standards.

Job Purpose

The Senior Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience, achieving store sales targets, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations in line with Lenskart standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

• Provide expert guidance to customers on eyewear products including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and accessories
  
• Perform basic eye pre-checks and assist customers through the sales journey
  
• Drive individual and store sales targets (conversion, AOV, UPT)
  
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service professionally
  
• Promote ongoing offers, schemes, and new product launches
  

Team Support & Leadership

• Guide and support junior Sales Associates on product knowledge and selling techniques
  
• Assist the Store Manager in daily store activities and staff coordination
  
• Ensure adherence to grooming, service standards, and SOPs
  
• Act as a shift in-charge in the absence of the Store Manager
  

Store Operations

• Ensure proper merchandising, display standards, and visual presentation
  
• Maintain accurate billing, cash handling, and POS operations
  
• Monitor stock levels, assist in stock audits, and minimize shrinkage
  
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and overall store readiness
  

Compliance & Reporting

• Follow Lenskart policies, processes, and compliance guidelines
  
• Maintain daily sales reports and operational records
  
• Ensure customer data accuracy and confidentiality
