Job summary

Amadora Artisan Ice Cream in Chennai (Velachery HQ) is seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist to own end-to-end hiring across stores, kitchen production staff, trainers, supply chain and senior head-office roles.

You will build pipelines for high-volume hiring ahead of store launches, partner with franchise teams to maintain standards, and track metrics to ensure every new store opens on time with a capable team.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of recruitment experience with 2-3 years of high-volume hiring in QSR, F&B, retail or hospitality.
• Proven ability to hire frontline staff and mid-to-senior roles.
• Strong sourcing using Boolean search and recruiting platforms.
• Comfortable interviewing in English and Tamil; Kannada or Telugu a plus.
• organised, able to manage 20+ open roles simultaneously with ATS experience.

Responsibilities

Chennai (Velachery HQ) | Full-time | Reports to Senior HR Manager

Since 2011, Amadora has made premium artisanal ice cream in Chennai, from scratch and with no premixes. We now run company-owned and franchise stores across Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, with a central kitchen in Velachery. We plan to add 20+ stores next year, and we need someone to find and hire the people who will run them.

The Role

You will handle hiring across Amadora, from store teams and kitchen production staff to trainers, supply chain and senior head-office roles. This is a hands-on role. You'll set up the hiring pipeline, run it every day and make sure every new store opens on time with a full, capable team.

What You'll Do

• Handle full-cycle hiring: take the brief from the hiring manager, source, screen, coordinate interviews, close the offer and hand over to onboarding
• Build steady pipelines for high-volume roles such as store crew, store managers and production staff, ahead of each store launch
• Hire for specialist and leadership roles in finance, marketing, supply chain, operations and quality
• Find candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, referrals, campus drives, hospitality and catering institutes, and local hiring drives
• Help franchise partners hire for their stores so standards stay the same across the network
• Write and maintain JDs, interview scorecards and offer templates
• Track and report hiring numbers: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer-acceptance rate, source mix and 90-day retention
• Manage recruitment agencies and job-portal subscriptions within budget
• Promote Amadora as an employer on LinkedIn and other channels

What We're Looking For

• 5-8 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2-3 years of high-volume hiring in QSR, F&B, retail or hospitality
• Proven record of hiring both frontline staff and mid-to-senior roles
• Strong sourcing skills: Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri RMS
• Comfortable interviewing in English and Tamil (Kannada or Telugu is a plus)
• Well organised and able to run 20+ open roles at once without losing candidates
• Used to working with data and comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets and an ATS
• Willing to travel to Bangalore and Hyderabad for hiring drives

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

• Every new store opens with a fully staffed, trained team at least 2 weeks before launch
• Average time-to-fill is under 21 days for store roles and under 45 days for senior roles
• A referral and campus pipeline supplies at least 30% of frontline hires
• 90-day attrition for new frontline hires falls measurably from the current baseline
• A standard hiring playbook (JDs, scorecards, interview process) is in use across all company and franchise stores
• A monthly hiring dashboard is shared with leadership
• Build the hiring function at a fast-growing premium food brand
• Work directly with the founder and senior leadership
