Job summary

Comaea Consulting is an Executive Search and HR Consulting firm seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant/ Principal Consultant to manage recruitment across the APAC region from Mumbai, India. Based in Mumbai, you will lead executive search assignments and develop client relationships in the Marine Industry.

The role requires 8–12 years in recruitment/executive search, with at least 2 years in Maritime, and experience in business development and cross-border collaboration with teams in Singapore,

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience within a recruitment consulting or executive search firm.
• Atleast 2 years experience in Maritime or Marine Industry is a must.
• Ability to independently manage client relationships and complex recruitment assignments.
• Experience with business development or account management, including expanding existing accounts or pursuing new clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end executive search and recruitment assignments across the APAC region.
• Partner with clients to understand hiring needs and provide consultative talent solutions.
• Source, assess, interview, and present high-quality mid to senior-level professionals.
• Prepare candidate assessments and utilise structured evaluation methodologies, including psychometric assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Singapore, UK, Sweden, and India offices on regional and international assignments.
• Support business development by building client relationships, identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to account growth.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant/ Principal Consultant to manage recruitment assignments across the APAC region while contributing to business development in India in the Marine Industry.

Senior Recruitment Consultant/ Principal Consultant - Maritime Industry (based in Mumbai, India)

The Opportunity:

This role is suited for an experienced recruitment consultant with experience in the Marine/Maritime Industry who is confident managing client relationships, leading executive search assignments independently, and contributing to the growth of the business. If your experience has primarily been focused on sourcing or delivery support, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end executive search and recruitment assignments across the APAC region.
• Partner with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide consultative talent solutions.

• Prepare candidate assessments and utilise structured evaluation methodologies, including psychometric assessments.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of experience within a recruitment consulting or executive search firm.
• Atleast 2 years experience in Maritime or Marine Industry is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage client relationships and complex recruitment assignments with minimal supervision.
• Proven exposure to business development or account management, including developing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, or supporting new client acquisition.
• Experience recruiting mid to senior-level professionals across one or more specialised sectors like Marine, Industrial, Logistics, Pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
• Experience managing APAC or international recruitment assignments will be an advantage.
