Job summary

Assystem GmbH in Bengaluru is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage project quantities, cost estimation, budgeting, and billing for infrastructure projects. You will ensure commercial compliance and accurate measurement of works throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (B.E./Diploma) and 5–15 years of quantity surveying experience in large-scale infrastructures like roads, railways, metro, bridges, or airports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–15 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure projects.
• Experience on infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, railways, metro, bridges, airports, or water projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates from project drawings and specifications.
• Verify executed quantities and monitor project costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare and process client RA bills and certify subcontractor invoices.
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims, and change orders.
• Support tendering, procurement, and commercial evaluations.
• Coordinate with project, planning, and finance teams for cost reporting and project controls.
• Maintain commercial records, measurement sheets, and contractual documentation.
• Prepare periodic cost, billing, and commercial performance reports.
