Job summary

BSR INFRATECH INDIA LTD. in Amaravati seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee all cost and commercial aspects of construction projects, from pre-contract to post-contract.

You will prepare and review BOQs, monitor costs, support tendering and contract negotiations, and ensure accurate cost planning with project teams. The role requires on-site collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, strong cost management skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or civil engineering with relevant certifications.
• Experience in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, tender processes and variation valuation.
• Proficiency with quantity surveying software and MS Excel; analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Amaravati and manage multiple priorities with deadlines.

Role Description

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Amaravati, responsible for overseeing all cost and commercial aspects of construction projects. Daily activities include preparing and reviewing BOQs, monitoring project costs, supporting tendering and contract negotiations, and ensuring accurate cost planning from pre-contract to post-contract stages. The role involves tracking and validating measurements, managing interim payment applications, and preparing detailed cost reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to maintain budgetary control, manage variations and claims, and support timely project delivery. The position also requires maintaining compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to maintain budgets and optimize project financial performance.
• Candidates should possess expertise in BOQ preparation and measurement to support accurate estimating, tendering, and contract administration.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to forecast expenditures, monitor financial progress, and provide clear commercial insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced certifications in cost management or construction contracts are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects, with strong knowledge of contracts, tender processes, and valuation of variations.
• Proficiency with quantity surveying software and MS Excel, strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Amaravati, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
