Job summary

Talent Hr Networks in Pune is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector to perform quality inspection of tubular products and premium threads in a high-precision threading facility. You will read drawings, inspect dimensions and threads, and ensure conformance with customer requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in quality inspection, strong hands-on metrology skills, and experience with VAM Premium Threading.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection in machining and precision manufacturing.
• Hands-on with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and dimensional tolerances.
• Experience in VAM Premium Threading inspection (3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, machined components and finished tubular products.
• Read engineering drawings and interpret dimensions, tolerances and specs.
• Perform dimensional and thread inspection using micrometers, calipers, thread gauges and dial indicators.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections including First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Prepare Certificate of Conformance (COC) and review Material Test Reports (MTR).
• Maintain inspection records and product traceability.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, 5S and QMS.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Control Inspector to perform quality inspection of tubular products and premium threads manufactured in a high-precision threading facility. The role involves dimensional inspection, thread inspection, drawing interpretation, gauge management, calibration, documentation, non-conformance control and ensuring compliance with quality and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Inspect raw materials, machined components and finished tubular products.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
• Perform dimensional and thread inspection using micrometers, vernier calipers, thread gauges, dial indicators and other precision instruments.
• Conduct in-process and final inspection.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Evaluate products against drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Identify, tag, segregate and report non-conforming products.
• Maintain inspection records and product traceability.
• Prepare Certificate of Conformance (COC) and review Material Test Reports (MTR).
• Manage inspection gauges and support calibration activities.
• Ensure measuring instruments are within valid calibration status.
• Support Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct quality checks/audits on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, 5S and QMS requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior QC Inspectors.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.

Candidate Profile :-

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection in machining, turning, milling, drilling or precision manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Good understanding of machining processes.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in VAM® Premium Threading Inspection.
• Knowledge of API / BTC / EUE threading.
• Experience in oil & gas / tubular products / premium threading will be highly preferred.
• Good English communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality ownership.
